Presentation deadline: 30 September 2010

Submission of full papers for publication in the ICIN 2010 Conference Proceedings has now closed.

ICIN 2010 and BMMP 10 speakers are now requested to upload the PowerPoint slides for their presentations through EDAS by 30 September 2010. Presentations should be submitted using the ICIN 2010 PPT template that can be downloaded here.

Examples of posters for display during the demonstration / poster sessions should be sent to the poster session chairman by 30 September 2010.

Deadlines: Full conference papers due 30 July 2010


Authors of accepted abstracts are requested to provide a full paper for publication in the ICIN 2010 Conference Proceedings and indexing in IEEE Xplore®. Full papers must be in IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF format. Authors of ICIN 2010 conference papers must upload their final manuscript through EDAS at http://edas.info/N8600 where it will remain open for modifications until 30 July 2010. Authors of BMMP 10 workshop papers should upload their final manuscript through EDAS at http://edas.info/N8948 where it will remain open for modifications until 30 July 2010.

Final manuscripts are subject to the approval of the session chairman who may recommend rejection of full papers that do not take account of reviewers' requirements and expectations in an acceptable manner.

Speakers in ICIN 2010 technical paper sessions and demonstration sessions should provide a full paper (maximum 6 pages) in IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF format. Speakers in technical paper sessions should also provide powerpoint slides for the oral presentation in the session. Speakers in demonstration sessions should also provide a poster for display during the demonstration sessions.

BMMP 10 workshop speakers should provide a final paper in PDF format (maximum 6000 words) for publication in the ICIN 2010 Conference Proceedings as well as powerpoint slides for the oral presentation in the BMMP 10 workshop session.

Powerpoint slides for oral presentations must be uploaded on EDAS by 30 September 2010. Examples of posters for display during the demonstration sessions should be sent to the demonstration session chairman by 30 September 2010.

Speaker registration


All authors who plan to present an accepted paper or poster must complete their paid registration by 30 July 2010. There is no refund for cancellation but substitutions may be made at any time prior to the event. The discounted speaker rate is only available to accepted presenters in the programme (one presenter per paper). Co-authors participating in the event should register as delegates. ICIN Events reserves the right to exclude a paper from the programme and from the conference proceedings and from distribution after the conference if the paper is not presented at the conference.

Copyright


It is the formal policy of the IEEE to own the copyrights to all copyrightable material in its technical publications. The IEEE Communications Society ( the technical co-sponsor of ICIN 2010) therefore requires that IEEE be the sole copyright holder for material published in IEEE Xplore®. Authors are requested to complete the relevant IEEE Copyright Form through the EDAS system before the paper submission deadline of 30 July. Copyright forms can be completed online: Authors should go to their "My Papers" tab and click on the '©' icon under the column "Copyright Form" where their paper is located.

The following copyright line should appear at the foot of the first page of your final paper:

Authors unable to complete their copyright forms online should send both their completed copyright form and their final paper to registrar@icin.biz for uploading onto EDAS.

An IEEE PDF eXpress web page for ICIN 2010 is available for authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs or to check their own PDFs for IEEE Xplore compatibility.









To use this service go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at www.pdf-express.org and enter your information using the Conference ID: <icin10x> following the instructions below:

  1. Access the IEEE PDF eXpress site

    First-time users:Previous users, but using it the first time for a new conference:Returning users:
    a. Click "New Users - Click Here". a. Enter icin10x for the Conference ID, your email address, and enter the password you used for your old account. a. Enter icin10x for the Conference ID, email address and password.
    b. Enter icin10x for the Conference ID, your email address, and choose a new password. Continue to enter information as prompted. b. When you click "Login", you'll receive an error saying you need to set up an account. Simply click "Continue". By entering your previously used email address and password combination, you will enable your old account for access to this new conference.
    c. Check that the contact information is still valid, and click "Submit". c. You will receive online and email confirmation of successful account setup.

  2. For each conference paper, click "Create New Title".
  3. Enter identifying text for the paper (title is recommended but not required)
  4. Click "Submit PDF for Checking" or "Submit Source Files for Conversion"
  5. Indicate platform, source file type (if applicable), click Browse and navigate to file, and click "Upload File". You will receive online and email confirmation of successful upload
  6. You will receive an email with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF attached. If you submitted a PDF for Checking, the email will show if your file passed or failed.

Options (choose one) If the PDF submitted fails the PDF check: If you are not satisfied with IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF:If the PDF submitted passed the PDF Check, or you are satisfied with your IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF:
